Windy City Bulls Dominate Birmingham, 129-109
It was all business in Hoffman Estates Wednesday night as the Windy City Bulls, the G League affiliate of the Chicago Bulls, ran past the Birmingham Squadron 129-109 in front of their home crowd.
Jordan Hall made history. The guard picked up his first pro triple-double with 16 points, 14 rebounds, and 10 assists — an all-around statement performance.
EJ Liddell lit it up. On assignment from the Chicago Bulls, the forward poured in a game-high 31 points on 12-for-19 shooting, including five from deep.
Marcus Domask kept rolling. The rookie logged his fourth 20+ point outing this season, finishing with 21 on 9-of-14 shooting.
David Muoka held it down inside. The big man notched his first double-double of the year with 14 points and 10 boards, while swatting a season-high five shots.
Short-handed with only nine active, Windy City still flipped the game in the second quarter — locking Birmingham to just 27% shooting and stretching the lead to 20 by halftime. By the time Jordan Jackson threw down a breakaway dunk in the closing minutes, the game was already sealed.
For Birmingham, Antonio Reeves led with 27 points (five threes), and Lester Quinones added 24 along with four steals.
Final: Windy City improves to 5-4, while Birmingham drops to 2-5.
